Alan Wilson

Alan Wilson, serving on the prosecution team as South Carolina Attorney General, conducted the direct and redirect examinations of crime-scene reconstruction expert Kenneth L. Kinsey on Day 26.

On direct examination, Wilson elicited Kinsey's analysis of shell-casing direction, pellet locations, and the physical implications of the feed-room scene. Kinsey disputed elements of the defense reconstruction, including its static-line analysis and a proposed shooter movement that Kinsey said did not account for pellets found inside the feed room.

On redirect, Wilson returned to the relationship between the pathologists' conclusions and the crime scene. His questions emphasized reconstruction variables that could limit the defense's inference about shooter height and presented the State's response to issues developed during cross-examination.
